Six Nations

The Six Nations is rugby union's leading annual international championship, contested by England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. Each side plays the others once, home or away, with points awarded for wins, draws and bonus tries, culminating in a table-topping champion and the chance of a Grand Slam for winning every match. For British fans, fierce historic rivalries and the prospect of home nations glory make it a cornerstone of the rugby calendar.
